so what is it about grace that is so hard to give it to others. i have joined a group of young guys who is discussing grace and it has got me thinking about it alot.

listened to a talk/sermon two sundays ago where the message was judgement and why certain lifestyles bring God's rath, like aids etc, there was a comment about the organization that this guy leads wont support a 15 billion dollar legislation to help with aids/hiv care research, you know its really just the result of sin. the message was in need of grace and it just wasnt there. i think Jesus would have been loving/caring/paying for the help of people with aids no matter how they got it, kind of like he did with lepers, he just loved them, healed them. my son isaiah tested positive for aids at birth but later negative, if he had gotten it from his birth mother who likely died from it what did he do to deserve that judgement? i just cant figure out people who want to blame our world's probelms on others and refuse to look at themselves, there is no sin greater than another so why do we constantly list them and why is homosexualality the sin du jour? what about pride or gluttony or adultery or lying. arent those sins too, so maybe we should stop supporting anything because everyone is sinning, maybe aids is Gods judgement for our lying, not our sexual preferences, funny how we never complete our logical rational ideas when they shed light upon our true selves.

finally got to watch the matrix revolutions, have to say i was dissapointed, not much there but the usual violence and silly scenarios of hopeless odds being over taken by improbable circumstances. i did the like the last bit of dialogue between the oracle and the architect, when the architect ask how long would the peace last, my thought was not long

watched the abc special Jesus and Paul last night, i thought it was very good, balanced and insightful. it gave me many things to think about. how Paul did church is one, there was a strong suggestion that he did his preaching through and out of his business of tent making, small bands of outcasts meeting to share life with each other sounds like things are very similar to whats happenig with the emerging culture. anyway glad abc showed the thing and did such a good job
